The Tate High School Drama Department will present the musical, Mary Poppins, in the school’s cafetorium Thursday - Saturday, February 1-3, at 7:00pm and Sunday, February 4, at 2:30pmMary Poppins tells the story of the magical nanny who floats into London to care for the children of George and Winifred Banks.  Most have seen the popular musical of the 1960’s starring Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke, but audiences to the stage play will see that there are some different plot twists and characters, as well as some new music, that the movie does not include.  This stage musical is a wonderful blending of the old and familiar with the new.

Tickets will go on sale Monday, January 29, at lunches for $5.00 general admission.  Center section reserved seats are on sale for $10.00.
